Our Roles

We are always looking for passionate educators to join us. We also have a range of opportunities’ across our services including Early Childhood Teachers, Educational Leaders, Chefs and Centre Managers.

Kids ELC Educators are the heart and soul of our centres. They are nurturing, patient, full of curiosity and excitement. They are passionate about children and believe that they are shaping the hearts and minds of the next generation every day.

Educational Leader/Pedagogista

Kids ELC Educational Leaders/Pedagogistas support and mentor our Educators daily. They guide, observe, document, analyse and interpret the rights and needs of each child and family.

At Kids ELC we believe it is essential to have a Pedagogista mentoring and supporting our Educators in all aspects of their role.  Our Pedagogista also assists Educators in their professional development and growth and guides best practise in teaching and learning.

Early Childhood Teacher

Kids ELC Early Childhood Teachers are committed to support children, who are preparing to enter primary school.  They engage in intentional and non-intentional teaching and ensure a successful transition for all children before going off to big school.

Centre Manager

Kids ELC Centre Managers are the backbone of our centres.  They prioritise the wellbeing of children and Educators above all else. They have a deep commitment to their team of Educators, children and their families.  They build and maintain respectful relationships between children, families and their team of Educators and are committed to creating a caring learning environment which provides quality outcomes for children, families and educators.

Assistant Centre Manager

Kids ELC Assistant Centre Managers work alongside and in unity with the Centre Manager.  They mentor and support their team and are always there to lend a helping hand with the daily operations of the centre.

Izabela Duda

“As an educator, it has been a lifelong aspiration to work as a lead educator in an early learning setting. Kids ELC have provided endless mentoring and opportunities to help me succeed and meet personal career goals. I am surrounded by colleagues whose beliefs and practices align with my own. I feel that each day holds endless potential and I consider myself fortunate to be involved with a community that values wellbeing and education of children as their first priority.”

Claire Weekes

“I have been at Springwood Kids ELC for four years now. I love working with the Reggio Emilia philosophy and supporting children through the unique and individual ways in which they learn, along with guiding children as we investigate and explore together. My favourite part is rediscovering the world through the eyes of a child.”

Summer Currie

“I have worked for kids ELC over the last 6 years. Since then I have grown immensely as an educator due to the opportunities, training and workshops Kids ELC provide to grow educators knowledge on the Reggio Emilia approach.

The last year a position and studio was created at our Springwood centre to help inspire children’s imagination and creativity. I was chosen to run this studio as the centres ATELIERISTA and have enjoyed every moment. Working in an environment that not only inspires the children but also myself as the educator.

Creating provocations for children to make new discoveries and encourage children to learn and express there thoughts and feelings by getting creative and using the Atelier as their creative outlet is encouraged every day.

I gain great satisfaction in knowing that I have made a small difference in a child’s day or week. I feel as though management supports my decisions and trusts me in my daily work.

Over all Kids ELC are a great company to work for with amazing team culture and opportunities to grow and learn every day.”

Brenden Eagle

“Working for Kids ELC as an assistant educator over the past six months has been an absolute privilege. Being a male in this industry, you can sometimes face challenges and difficulties due to a lack of understanding and assumptions of others. I have worked in the sector for almost seven years and throughout that time, I have never felt more confident in my role as a male educator. Knowing you have a team that prioritizes the safety, wellbeing and education of the children as well as the educators gives such piece of mind. Along with ample opportunities for professional development, Kids ELC ensures it sets its educators up for success in their roles by providing us with the necessary tools, equipment and knowledge to provide exceptional learning environments and experiences for the children.”
